You must be a registered South Carolina voter (S.C. Code § 7-3-20(D)(13)). Using the list, or any personal information from a public body, for commercial solicitation is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500, up to a year in jail, or both (S.C. Code § 30-2-50). Campaign use is fine.
It includes voter name, address, race, gender, date of birth, voter registration number, registration date, county, precinct, voting districts, voting history for the past two statewide primaries and general elections. It does not include phone numbers, email addresses.
