Who can order it

Anyone with an election or government purpose, and supporting or opposing a candidate counts (HRS § 11-97 and HAR § 3-177-160). You swear the data will be used only for that purpose and will not be sold, released, distributed or used commercially, including to ask for money. Lying on the affidavit is a Class C felony.

Tips before you order

Each county sells only its own voters. A statewide race means four separate applications.
Be specific about your purpose on the affidavit, such as "door-to-door canvassing for my campaign for Maui County Council."
Do not use the file to mail or deliver fundraising requests. Solicitations for money are banned.
Sales are final in Maui, so make sure you are asking for the right county before you pay.
Phone numbers are not included. Collect them at the door and record them in CampaignKnock as you go.
